iPad for kids...

I think having an iPad could be good and bad. I think it's good because kids can learn how to use technology and since it's a really nice tool kids would be more focused on doing their work. It's also good because kids would actully look foward to coming to school and learning. An advantage to having iPads is that you can get things done faster like the app the boy said he had in the article that lets you look up the definition of a word as soon as you type it in. I think it's bad to have an iPad because they can get broken easily and kids in 2nd grade don't know how to take care of nice things yet. It could also distract kids from doing their work because since its technology it could sometimes run slow or it might die right in the middle of a lesson because it needs to be charged. A disadvantage to having an iPad is that it can easily get kids of taks because the apps might cost money and all the free apps mostly have adds and its easy to accidently click on something that you may not want to be on.
